It's been far, far too long!

So, it's been quite a while.  A lot has been going on in my corner of the world.

Work's been going great.  I've become a senior tech!  That's as high as you can get in the pharmacy without being a pharmacist.  There are three of us at the moment (me being the third) but one is leaving in August to go to grad school in the mountains.  [I'm gonna miss her like crazy!]  I've been making the schedule for about the last month now.  It's kinda like a big puzzle but I like making it.  I also get to go to meetings at district headquarters and take transfers and whatnot.  It's all very exciting.  I feel like I'm closer to my coworkers now too.  For example a couple weeks ago the three senior techs and a [former] pharmacy intern went out for a night of drinking and dancing.  I really enjoyed myself.  I don't go out all that much and it was great being with the girls.

I found out recently that I got accepted in to the MBA program at ECU!!  I was on top of the world when I found out.  So classes will start August 20th.  I have my meeting with my advisor Monday morning to get registered but I already have my entire program planned out.  I'm only going to be going part time so that I can keep working full time.  Paying for it is going to be interesting.  I missed the financial aid deadline for fall so I have to find a loan from somewhere else.  But every other semester I should have fianancial aid.  I'll be in debt for a long time but it'll be worth it.

Well, I guess that's all for now.  Until the next time people, Peace.

So...

Things have been rather boring around here lately.

I'm still at work far too much, but it's finally slowing down.  Probably because the flu season is winding down.  I still amaze myself with how much I've learned since I've been there.  I'm even helping in the training of a new girl, which I love doing.  I recently became board certified which means I have a new title, more credibility and a pretty nice raise.  Next step is becoming a senior tech.  I'm already looking in to it.  =)

Family life is pretty good.  I haven't seen my folks in a couple weeks but I'm going home tomorrow for Easter.  Some extended family will be down from Maryland and it should be good times.  I'm spending the night there which I haven't done in a very, very long time.  I'm kind of excited about it, but bummed at the same time because it'll be the first time I've slept without my boyfriend in almost a year.  I pretty much need my goodnight kiss from him to go to sleep now days. I'll miss him, but we'll be ok.

Speaking of the boyfriend, the relationship is amazing as ever.  It seems we just get closer.  We've become a lot more open with each other too, about subjects that are normally taboo, like sex and what we like and what we want to try and all that.  I've always been painfully shy about saying what I want when it comes to sex.  It feels great to let go and be completely open with someone.

I got my tax refund checks the end of last week.  We paid all our bills, I set money aside for the GMAT, and I bought myself a brand new orange LG Scoop.  It's pretty much the coolest phone ever.  I love it.  The boyfriend got me one of the mobile memory chips too, so I have a ton of storage space for music and pics.  I love the full keyboard too.  Next big splurge is gonna be an Xbox 360.  But we'll have to save up for that one.  Since we've both recently gotten raises maybe it'll come sooner rather than later.

Oh and I would come close to killing for a wireless card for my laptop so I could be writing this from the comfort of my bed and not sitting in the cold at my desk.  I have built in wireless but I cannot for the life of me get it to work here at our house.  I'm not the most technical person in the world, but it shouldn't be that damn hard to get on a network.

Happy Easter folks.

My biography says it all: I'm all over the place when it comes to interests.  I love being organized, music, cooking, reading & expressing myself [especially artistically].  I have a ton of dreams & inspirations.  As of now my goal is to go back to school for my MBA & eventually open up a graphic design business of my own.  May be a long shot but if I'm anything, I'm determined.

I'm a pretty average 21 year old.  Love to have fun & relax, constantly reinventing myself & struggling to find myself.  I have an amazing boyfriend [we've been together almost 2 years now], a job I love [most days] & a family I simply adore.  I have some pretty awesome friends as well.  I'm an easy going person & very open minded.  I love discussing things with interesting people.

Feel free to contact me! =)
